Short answer — yes. In Direct swap mode your funds never leave your wallet: your wallet signs the transaction and a public DEX smart contract executes the swap. We never touch your money. In Via exchange mode, funds pass through the selected third-party exchange. These are reputable services with years of operation, but in rare cases a swap may be delayed or refunded to a refund address. That's why we always ask for a refund address — it's your safety net.

We check several things before every swap. • The coin: can it actually be sold (some are honeypots — you can buy but can't sell), is there a hidden tax, can the creator mint new tokens or freeze transfers. Every coin in your wallet and in the swap window shows a colored badge: green is fine, yellow means caution, red means scam. • Recipient address: checked against sanctions lists and databases of known scam wallets. If the address is dangerous — we warn you before you click swap. • Approvals. Most DEX and exchanges request 'unlimited' access to your tokens — meaning a contract can pull any amount at any time. If a vulnerability is later found — your entire balance gets drained. We don't do that: we only request permission for the exact swap amount. A 100 USDT swap — 100 USDT approval, not a cent more. • You sign every transaction yourself in your wallet. We never hold your keys or have access to your money.

Direct swap — swaps EVM tokens (Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, etc.) through DEXes like Uniswap. Funds stay with you, but you need a wallet and a compatible network. Via exchange — you send coins to a deposit address, the aggregator performs the swap and sends the result to your address. Best for Bitcoin, Solana, TON, TRX, Monero, LTC and other non-EVM coins. No wallet required — just a recipient address.

Our cut is 0.5% of the amount and it's already baked into the displayed rate. No hidden charges on top. Additionally you pay: • In Direct swap mode — the network gas fee, paid directly to the blockchain (not to Rakoo) • In Via exchange mode — the underlying exchange fee (~0.4–1%), also already in the rate

For DEX swaps we work with all the popular ones: MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rabby, OKX Wallet, SafePal, Coinbase Wallet, Phantom (EVM mode) — plus any other via WalletConnect. Via exchange mode doesn't need a wallet. You only need an address where the coins should arrive.

Yes, the site is fully responsive. Easiest way: open rakoochange.tech in your wallet's built-in browser (Trust, MetaMask, OKX, Rabby) — the wallet auto-connects. Or hit Connect and scan the QR code with your wallet's mobile app. Via exchange works in any browser without a wallet.

It's the max deviation between the rate shown when you click and the rate you actually get. On stable pairs (USDC ↔ USDT) 0.5% is enough. On volatile ones (new tokens, low liquidity) 1–2% is safer. If the price moves more than your limit while the transaction is being broadcast, it auto-reverts so you never get less than you agreed to. DEX mode only.

In Via exchange mode, swaps can occasionally take several hours during blockchain congestion — that's normal. If it's been over 4 hours without a status, email us at team@rakoochange.tech with the transaction ID. We'll loop in the exchange's support and chase a resolution. In DEX mode a transaction either confirms or reverts — funds stay in your wallet either way. If a transaction looks stuck, check the hash on Etherscan: it's usually an out-of-gas issue.

No, crypto only. To buy crypto with fiat, use trusted P2P on Bybit or OKX, exchanges like Bestchange, or a service like BitPapa. Once you have crypto in a wallet, come back to us for further swaps.
